When something goes wrong
Corrupt files, and formats outside the list above, stop with a plain message rather than a spinner that never finishes. If a track plays in your music app it will normally open here.
The audio container is not one the browser can read. Convert it to MP3 or WAV first, then run it through again.
Why not an upload site
An upload-based audio editor sends your recording to a server and sends the result back. Removing that round trip removes the waiting, the caps and the copy of your file.

Yes. Every input is converted to a common sample rate before being combined, so mismatched files join cleanly.
Can I add a gap or crossfade between tracks? expand_more
The current version joins tracks back to back with no gap. A crossfade option is on the roadmap.
Is there a file size limit? expand_more
No fixed limit is imposed by the tool. The practical ceiling is how much memory your device has free, because the whole job runs inside this browser tab.
Does it work without an internet connection? expand_more
Yes, once the page has loaded. Nothing is fetched while you work, so a dropped connection does not interrupt a run.
Do I need an account or an email address? expand_more
No. There is nothing to sign up for, and nothing is ever attached to an identity because no file leaves your device.
