When something goes wrong

The audio container is not one the browser can read. Convert it to MP3 or WAV first, then run it through again.

Can I extract audio from a file with several language tracks? expand_more

Yes. If more than one audio track is found, a list appears and you can pick the one you want before extracting.

Is the extracted audio identical to the original? expand_more

When the source audio is already in a compatible format, it can be copied without re-encoding, so it is identical. Otherwise it is re-encoded into your chosen format.

Why does my extracted file sound quieter than expected? expand_more

Some videos store multi-channel audio such as 5.1. When that is reduced to stereo, the overall level can drop. Choosing a higher bitrate helps preserve the detail.

Is there a file size limit? expand_more

No fixed limit is imposed by the tool. The practical ceiling is how much memory your device has free, because the whole job runs inside this browser tab.
