When something goes wrong
Encrypted and damaged documents stop with a plain message rather than a spinner that never finishes. If a PDF opens in your reader it will normally open here.

Why not an upload site

PNG is lossless and keeps text and line art perfectly sharp, which suits documents and diagrams. JPG produces smaller files and is a better fit for pages that are mostly photographs.
